How the Host Finder works

Hosting comparisons usually rank by the intro price: the number that only applies if you prepay three or four years, and that disappears at renewal. The Host Finder ranks by the 3-year total cost instead: the intro price for the term it requires, then the host’s published renewal price.

Your answers decide which kind of hosting fits (shared, managed WordPress, cloud or a VPS) and then filter on what you can’t compromise on: your 3-year budget and how long you’re willing to prepay. If almost nothing fits, we show the closest options and tell you exactly what each one misses. Your priority (lowest cost, speed, support, daily backups, a long money-back window or green energy) and where your visitors are tilt the ranking, and our editorial ratings break ties.
